Sacred Heart Medical Center Foundation is exploring the concept of working with local businesses to develop a Community Health and Wellness Initiative. The concept calls for PeaceHealth Oregon Region to partner with employers to provide workplace wellness programs for employee groups throughout the region. It is expected that a robust and coordinated employee wellness program that works toward changing lifestyle behaviors will result in a healthier community and also significantly reduce healthcare costs in the region.
